What's the weirdest or funniest thing that ever happened to you at work? I'm collecting stories for my blog.

I worked at a taco bell in NJ. One night another employee threw a firecrack(m-80) outside. At the same time a customer drove in the wrong way into the parking lot. The firework went into the cars open passengers window. The guy jumped out of his car. The car started to drive over and got stuck on the median between taco bell's parking lot and the diner's parking lot next door. My coworker ran into the store, and hid in the back. The driver ran in and asked where he went. We all said out the other door. He came back in a few minutes later with the cops. They accused a different employee of doing it and were about to take him to jail, when the real culprit came out and owned up to it. So he ended up spending the night in jail, in a taco bell uniform, before he finally got bailed out.

i worked in food service when i was very young and we used to have wall races with food, meaning about 4 or 5 of us would throw some type of food against the wall and bet on which would slide down first (pudding, pizza, pickles, etc.) and got caught by the head of the resort and no one got fired cause they would have been too short staffed......

also used to have jello eating contests until someone puked.....that was pretty funny

catching 2 co-workers at work getting it on. Interesting thing is that the female co-worker made eye contact with me and said nothing, didnt even stop.
its a little uncomfortable around the office for me

I was given flowers out of a cemetery for my birthday. It was one of the big arrangements on a stand and everything. It was a joke to see how well I could take a joke.

As a food service manager years ago in Savannah GA. I had a dish washer attempt to shoot a customer. That was pretty weird.....
