You need to provide more information on exactly the cause but these are some general steps to making your homepage yahoo.com

Internet Explorer:
Open IE --> Tools column --> Internet Options --> Under General Tab --> Address field

1) Type www.yahoo.com
2) If yahoo.com is your current page on your browser, click Use Current (which will change the homepage)

Firefox:
Open Firefox --> Tools column --> Options --> General Tab --> Locations

1) type www.yahoo.com
2) If yahoo.com is your current page on your browser, click Use Current page (which will change the homepage)

Make sure to click Apply/OK that it saves your changes

Have you been to options or Tools when you're at the Internet explorer. On tools you go to home page and type the wed site you want to use on the homepage. Also you can go to www.yahoo.com on the bottom of the main Yahoo! page in a link it say "make yahoo my home page.
Good Luck! :)

Are you clicking on the Yahoo! links? they usually get screwed up somewhere in the process. Here's the manual way, since I am using Internet Explorer, currently:

at the menu bar, go to Tools >> Internet Options

Under the "home page" section, copy and paste this address:

http://www.yahoo.com/

then click "ok" and click the home button to see if it worked. hope this helps!
