It really doesn't matter where you go, the perfection is in your love celebrated no matter what the setting, and you wont be doing sightseeing anyway. We went to West of Ireland--magic yes, but in the end we didn't see too much of the place.

I am noticing (through the amount of on-line pictures of honeymooners who visited the island) that Madeira (Portugal) is starting to be a popular honeymoon destination.
Madeira a tropical island .... on the map it is a tiny speck in the ocean ... that is shrouded in mystery and legend ... some believe it is part of the lost continent of Atlantis. Also known as the “floating garden” .... Madeira has a unique natural beauty. Blossoming all year round with colorful exotic flowers ... dramatic mountain peaks, fertile green valleys, waterfalls and high jagged cliffs .... dropping down to the seashore.
It has everything to plan a great program ... from relaxation in a nature environment to romantic walks in the sub-tropical forest .... romantic dinners while watching the sun going down in the Atlantic or intimate lunches at the Porto Santo beach. You are on an island where you can easy drive up above the clouds. And many more.

Perfect honeymoon was mine of course:)) We went to Hawaii for 2 weeks, We landed on the Island of Oahu spent a couple of days, then spent 4 days on Maui, and 4 days on Kauai then back to Oahu. The days on Kauai were the BEST. We had, for some reason, the beach all to ourselves for 2 days, nobody around. I think that was the best moment just being married on beautiful beach all by ourselves in paradise. If you can find it I HIGHLY recommend it. It had something for my husband and for me. If you can just imagine:)))

Would you prefer something relaxing? Something adventurous?
Oh, dear this list can be endless!
What I would suggest in brief words is to avoid all those common "romantic" honeymoon destinations and try something different and exceptional!
How about a gorilla safari in Africa? Or a cruise at the Amazon River?

Tahiti is so romantic .They have resorts with actual huts directly over the water. Room service is served right up to the hut by canoe. So private and romantic.
I have sent clients there who like you are looking for something different and romantic.Everyone I have sent so far absolutley loved it.
