You need to let it soak for awhile (even overnight) in cold water. Then put some stain-remover on it and let it sit for awhile. Then wash the article of clothing in cold water and detergent. If the article of clothing is white, you could always bleach. Also, putting clothes out in the sun to dry will help remove some of the stains. Whatever is left is stuck there.

Blood is a water soluble substance so even if you just soak it in water for hours it will be removed from your clothe. But for quick result, soak it in water with detergent. If you happen to be wearing the clothe that's got stained, you simply apply wet tissue paper on the surface of the clothe and then put a dry piece of tissue under so that when water passes from the wet tissue through the clothe to the dry tissue, it will take with it the blood particles on the clothe. Get it? ;)

Vivid or OxyClean are the best. It may take a couple of washings, DON'T throw in the dryer until it's gone. Don't use peroxide, it can bleach your clothes and that won't help much at all!
