Of course it doesn't have any meaning of being a gay.. Besides what we all know about the dove as a symbol of peace and sailors travels -as pretty hot mentioned-.. It doesn't necessary signify an exact thing, may be it's just that he liked the design and that's why he picked it up.. Whatever your son is a grown man now and you don't have to worry that much about him...:) Let him enjoy it..

im not exactly sure what the dove tattoo means, but i do know that the dove is a symbol of peace.

I believe I saw on t.v. that it is used by sailors that have traveled many miles. On the left shoulder it means that you have traveled so many thousands of miles and on the right shoulder you have traveled almost the span of the earth or world. I don't know of any other relation or meaning that it may carry. And it doesn't mean that he is gay.
