First you need a high speed internet conection. it wont work with dial up. then just go to a game store and get the XBL starter kit that comes withe internet cables headset and the subscription. i would get the full year because i garuntee you will like it. then go home plug the cable into your xbox into your router then turn on your xbox. on the dashboard, click XBL and start a new account. after you fill in the info, pop in a online game and play. My favorite is halo 2 or call of duty 2
