He wasn't allowed. Once you receive a red card you must leave the field. You can not return to the pitch until your suspension is over. His medal will be given to him off the field.
He has no obligation to give a press conference so there is no way to know for sure if he will ever speak about the game.

Mostly we will never hear what happened. It was his last game so he has no reason to explain what happened or say sorry. He was very upset. They played a good game, and lost in the very end. Some people can not handle things like this very well.

if it's an official cerimony it doesn't matter if you have a red card, all the stuff about him leaving and not coming back because of the card is bull ****.. Just think man, would you be brave enough to go get your medal after you did such a bad thing to yours and the others team?

What do you mean by “why”???? he lost his temper and picked up red when he was most needed to the team as their captain and even though he let them down, and he knew that after the red… So I guess he wasn’t ready to face his teammates

when a player gets a red card he's officially outta the game.so i guess it is not allowed and also he wouldnt want to come out anymore
