When humans are given information that is not entirely clear or concise to us, we then must have the need to fill in the blanks in order for them to make sense to us. That is where assumption comes from. Assumptions can be formed by the person asking the questions or the person receiving the answers. Providing that neither party was clear of the original question from the beginning.

Assumptions are formed or created by having a certain perception of the matter. Assumption is only a guess therefore perception may not be always accurate although sometimes one's perception cannot be changed even if proved otherwise.

assumptions are formed based on some asumptions and they are in turn based on some assumption and the cycle goes on which is a never ending cycle.

Assumptions are required, or used, to fill the gaps in incomplete information.
I guess (assume) that they are either interpolated or extrapolated from experience, therefore are pure invention.
How do we invent?

our preconcious (part of the sub concious) and concious relate current situations to past situations and make up an idea. This idea is an assumption.
