We are very responsible and we never get in trouble. My friend has a brother who is 13 and he is allowed. And we might bring my 12 year old boyfriend

I was allowed to go without parents at 10. My friend and I were able to take the bus together and go to the mall or the park to go swimming. That was a long time ago, way before cell phones!
It's got to be your parents decision though. It depends on how responsible and mature you are, and probably the neighborhoods you'll be traveling through.

It wasn't until 9th grade (13/14) when my parents started letting me go places with my friends alone. We didn't have cell phones back then, but we were pretty responsible. I have a 12 year old cousin and if you're anything like her... you don't need to go to the mall by yourself yet.

I was actually 12 years old when my parents started letting me go to the mall by myself...but I was with a group of friends. Now that I look at it, I don't evne know if I'd let my kids out that young.

It relies upon on how strict your mum and dad are. i'm 15 and that i began going to the mall on my own, even as i became 13. maximum all my friends were able to flow on my own at that age to. yet one in all my friends have very strict mum and dad and he or she continues to be no longer aloud to flow to the mall without an man or woman. in case your 14 then i imagine thats an outstanding age to commence happening my own.

I can't remember!
But I can tell you this, your never as strong as you think you are, try going out as a group, I think its much saver than just the 2 of you. I know you probably don't want to hear this, but to an older person you wouldn't stand a chance. I hope this helps, just remember, better save than sorry.

You should be at least 16 years old or responsible enough to currently be holding a job.
