I AM A MOTHER OF 7,ILIVE IN CHA HOUSING.I AM ABOUT TO BE EVECTED. BECAUSE OF THE DRUG BOYS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD SELLING OF MY PORCH,I REPORTED IT TO THE MANAGER OFFICE AND THE POLICE.SOME HOW THEY ARE SAYING THAT IT MY FAULT AND IS TRYING TO PUT ME IN THE STREETS.I DON;T HAVE TO MONEY TO MOVE AT THIS TIME. I WORK A PART TIME JOB. THAT DON'T PAY MUCH FOR ME TO MOVE AND PAY THE BILLS. I DON;T KNOW WHAT TO DO CAN ANY ONE HELP ME.

i agree, once u get the media in, u will have lawyers looking 4 u.
that will get the managers attention and then maybe listen to your side of the story.

nobody will listen to you if you are in government housing if you write a letter , you should simply call the cops whn the boys are selling drugs on the porch , then they will realize you are trying to fix the problem and if you get evicted you will have the proof of calling the cops on your side

Is there an ACLU office near you or a law firm that does some community work? Call them, or call the mayor's office or your local council rep. and ask for help. Good Luck

Write a letter to your local mayor or attorney general or get the press involved by reporting it to the local newspaper. Good luck!

If you are african american, NAACP. Call or write your local news channel that has a consumer complaint department. Find an attorney that gives free advice - they exist.
