I went to the doctor yesterday and I'm 1 1/2 cm dialated. I've also thinned out. I've been having some contractions, but they are irregular. My actual due date is the 20th of this month. My first as a c-section. I was induced with my second so I'm not quite sure about contractions or what to expect because I had to have an epidural about an hour after the potosim.

Just curious what everyone thinks. I'm so ready and my dr thinks I may need to be induced again. So I'm looking forward to seeing what you all have to say.

Thanks a bunch.

well, my 1st baby was 10 days late, and i was 3 cm dialated for about a month...so you may need to be induced...it's probably just braxton hicks you're feeling, that's how you got 1 1/2 cm dialated...

now, my 2nd baby, i got induced 3 wks early, my dr gave me that option...all i said was that i was very uncomfortable, and i had pretty bad edima and stuff...maybe you can do that...you've only got 9 days left...

whatever you decide with your dr, just make sure the baby is safe...good luck, and congrats in advance...

I had to be induced with all three of mine. I went to a check up two weeks before my youngest was born, I was dilated 3cm and almost totally effaced. The doc said he wouldn't see me for a regular appointment again before the chick was born. I was induced two weeks later.

You could go at any time, but don't get your hopes up.
