of course it's possible, I had a best friend that was a girl, but just remember...don't EVER start to feel for the other guy...trust me, it won't end up good...you would start to lose your friendship, be awkward with each other, never talk to each other(extreme...but it happened to me), and maybe...hate each other for the rest of your lives...but it's a great thing..a friendship b/ween a man and a woman, because all the girl problems he has, he can come to you....all the guy problems you have, you can go to him...not to mention be each other's stylist...lol...bottom line...it works

It's very possible, but either one first usually has a crush on the other first. That's how most man and woman best friends become best friends because the most they can do now is be that. I have 2 best guy friends one of 9 years and one of 4 years.

Well my husband is my very best friend, but before I met him mt best friend was also a man , he was my best friend of almost 10 years. He also married my little sister,so he was my brother-in-law too.He died of a heart attack in the shower at his home 4 years ago,We really miss him,but to answer your question yes i think men and women can really be friends,in some cases but in most cases, the man usually has ulterior motives

Friendship is that wonderful thing that develops between two people.

Men ands women are people, so friendship can exist between them.

How does it work? Rapport builds into liking, liking builds into trust, then it becomes friendship.

What keeps it as a friendship? By setting and having limits in terms of activities, and being sensible about the places you meet and share.

I have several female friends. Most of them are married or in a significant relationship. Our friendship stays as that only.

Try it!

Friendship rocks...

My best friend of 10 years is of the opposite sex And there is nothing but a true friendship between us. I can ask him for a mans perspective and vice verse. We are both married and were best friends before we married. When your married its all about trust.

Very possible! Most of my friends are males and that's how I met my boyfriend! Hanging out with the oppisite sex is not bad, it's fun! If you feel that these males are hitting on you I would stay away from them unless you flirt back!

It's possible.....with bounderies. Sometimes guys and girls for that matter think that because u are friends with the opposite sex that it's ok to ask for sex.......real friends wouldn't do that.
