A gun can't do anything - it is an in-animate object. Man, why is everybody always picking on the guns, man. They haven't done anything to anybody.

Now rappers, they are some murdering sons-of-a-guns. You ever heard them talk about Gangbangin'?


Honestly, any rapper worth his salt is not a murderer - they are drawing off the life they witnessed growing up, where many people did get murdered around them. But if they were truly murderous, how come Ice Cube hasn't been locked away forever? He has killed more people and cops than anyone I have ever heard. The reason is because he's an artist. The life he speaks about is not of his own.

So neither guns nor rappers kill people. Psychotic individuals from all walks of life kill people.

Guns don't kill people, bullets do.

Though I suppose it'd be possible to throw a gun with enough force that the impact of hitting someone on the head would be lethal...

And you know what, it's not even the bullets that kill people, it's the hemmoraging, blood loss, or loss of bodily functions due to organ damage that actually kills the person, they just happen to be the result of the bullet, which is the result of the gun, which is the result of the rapper or whoever managed to pull the trigger.

Have you ever seen a gun walk down the street and kill someone? No, I didn't think so. It's the people holding the guns that are doing the killing, and while I'm sure some of them think they're rappers, I don't think all of them are.

why is everyone so quick to link rappers and killings? if you listen to the lyrics, it's not them doing the killing! they come from the streets-killings, drive-by's, beat-downs, crackheads, crack whores, it's all comes with growing up in the ghetto!! but then you'd probably wouldn't know anything about that. don't know what kind of rap music u listen to, but better put on some 2-Pac, Biggie, KRS 1, some ol' Public Enemy, or somethin' and learn more about the true stories behind the music. Sharky, Sharky, Sharky- you know exactly what you were doing by introducing this question into the forum. And it worked you have over zealous radical Republicans forming their opinion that the right to bear arms kills people, and because of that I am forced to retort. To those that think that way, do me a favor and physically move your restricted government rear to a communistic country because you clearly have no idea that the guns that kill are unmarked, unregistered weapons. Black market will always have them. So you think its wise to have a government take away your right to defend your family? Hell NO!
Amendment II of the Bill Of Rights:
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. The first politician to come up with gun registry was Hitler- so when he declared his march into genocide he could seize every weapon in every home that was listed. No arms no defense of an out of control society, and believe me, if it comes to that- you will not be able to talk yourself out of it.
Oh and by the way, do you actually believe you have the choice in which you die? If it's not a gun it'll be something else- so the question is not if something causes death; rather than ARE YOU PREPARED FOR DEATH?

The people with the guns kill people. Some rappers with their lyrics do entice PEOPLE to go out and kill, But heavy metal does also. With Heavy metal, it has been going on longer than rap. People have a choice on what they are going to do.

What is a rapper? Is that what goes around a piece of chocolate? I mean if you got the rapper caught in your throat it could possibly kill you. Okay I agree. Rappers may be harmful to your health if used improperly.
