I don't think you should dress like a hipy. I think you should keep it neutral with hipy style accessories. Cause you style can offend another person. It depend on what type of job you do. If your at home all the time its fine, but if you have to go to work like that you can distracted others if your extreme.

I think it is good if you dress like a stylish hipy. Incorporate some new trends with your classic hipy look. Its never good to stay in one genre when it come to style. Through a twist in it!

I'm not sure what dressing "like a hippy" means now, but I did
when it first occured. Lots of tie-die shirts, lots of fringe, beaded
necklaces, wearing polished stones & crystals on choker chains,
sandles or earth-shoes. Long hair. Granny glasses. Vests. Lots
of embroidery on the jeans. Hip huggers. Peace symbols. Army
jackets. Chucka boots. Wearing frangrance oils instead of perfumes. The list goes on & on. Natural was in-artificial was out.
Have fun!

I think an individual should dress as they feel comfortable. If dressing like a "hippy" makes you comfortable, then do it. However, having said that, I also think there are times, like weddings, funerals, etc, where out of respect, you should dress at least somewhat more conservatively.

its ur choice noone cares but everyone notices, u can dress as u like but u have to be careful about the environment, the location and the need. u cant wear a bikini to a formal party similarily u cant be seen in a two piece suit or sweaters on a beach. it depends does it suit the situation or not.

Dress as you want. I do believe however in moderation.

Often when I see some wild outfits, or teenagers wearing the latest thing, I think to myself....either...(1) just another juvenile trying to fit-in by making themself look stupid...or...(2) that person must be so insecure with themself that they have to portray something special to others through their attire.

If you like what you're wearing, don't worry about it. The hippie look is very popular still in college towns. Just make sure you shower regularly and easy on the patchouli, ok? :)
