Noticias is news, aviso is notice (or caution).

You weren't clear on the meaning of notice. Did you mean it as a verb, as in "I notice a strange man lurking about?" Did you mean it as a noun, as in "I gave in my notice today at work", meaning I just quit? A notice as in an announcement?
