U muz accomp her go and do a test fst, see if it is really your child (be aware some women will tell lies); If it is really yours, well, comgratulations, better get married as soon as possible. Are u married or is she married? If either of u are, then u are screwed up..
If neither of u is planning to divorce, the last choice is to get her aborted.. What other choices u have anyway? U cannot kill her right? If u sack her, she can go to court and claim that u have raped her, u don't want end her lossing your career and family right?

If you lived in a free country, you could have sacked her immediately. The fact that you cannot do that means that government has intruded far beyond what they should have. In a logical world, it would be recognized that the employer owns the job, not the employee, and that the employee is employed at the whim of the employer.
All this intrusion into the private contract between employer and employed means you've sunk deep into socialism. Just be glad you don't have the French socialist 'job-for-life' employment regime.

The only reason you want to fire her is because she's pregnant? You've had no problems with the way she does her job? Besides being discriminatory and probably illegal, that is incredibly selfish. You know she will have greater financial need with a baby to provide for (and even if she's married it still can be a financial strain on couples) and yet you would throw her out? I'm not a radical feminist, but it's because of employers like you that women worry about getting pregnant or taking their entitled maternity leave - they fear their jobs won't be waiting when they return.

The fact that you are requesting free legal information when you should be asking an attorney and paying for his services, only shows what a penny pincher you are.
Has your secretary suddenly lost her ability to work because she is pregnant?
Alas, since labor laws are made thinking of a mans world, we will continue to see negative attitudes like yours for a long time.

You'll have to make something up, download porn on her computer and sack her for that.
She is a selfish b1tch who has got herself incapable through avoidable self injury.
There is a problem with over-population on this planet. Women who want to go to work, should give up their selfish desires to raise children and put the company first. If women want to be treated equally, they should take on the responsibilities.
It's all ME ME ME with them. like in wimbledon, they want equal prize money, but don't want to have to face playing the men, because they know, but will not admit, that men ARE better than them at tennis. they want ALL the perks, and none of the downside and boy do they b1tch untill they get it too.
Sack her sorryarse and hire a man!

You can't! Laws protect expecting women. She could continue to work for you up to the day she delivers. Then she has (by law) maternity time. If she doesn't want to return by the time that term is up, you can then "sack her"...but shame on you for thinking that way!!! She's only pregnant - it's not like she's diseased or something!

You cant - its as simple as that. If she loses her job now she will know it has something to do with her pregnancy. You will be dragged to court for unfair dismissal at the very least, failing that she could go to the court stating a breach of her human rights. Pregnancy does not render a secretary unable to do her job - you havent a legal leg to stand on thankfully!

Legally ....... you cant fire her, just because she is pregnant. Whats wrong with you any way? What if someone would have fired your mother when she was pregnant with you?You are a sick man to even want to do something like that. There must be something else behind your wanting to fire her,why don't you stand up and be a MAN and tell this person what you want to do ? just maybe she will be a smart person and start looking for another job with someone who has a caring heart . Are you married?Do you have a daughter?how would you fell if someone would do this to your daughter?

You can not sack her for being pregnant ... she could sue you for unfair dismissal ..... and you have to keep her job open for her as well ... but she will have to inform you at least a month before she is due to return to work that she is coming back or not

As everyone else said, legally, you can't. If you were trying to find a way to get rid of her, why not reassign her in another position, another department, etc., and say you needed to have someone immediately at her desk and you couldn't afford to wait on her? By reassigning her, you are saving your behind and the companies...
