Dumbledore is a wizard by race, Merlin is half demon, but Gandalf is the equivalent of an angel in the LotR mythology, so I think he is probably the most powerful.

Merlin is the founding father of wizardry. Benevolent and wise, Merlin rarely needed to use his magic to prove to others his point. Gandalf, although a white wizard and clever, was too irrational and fiery. And Dumbledore? well, he died... didn't you read the 6th book? So Merlin, all the way (especially because he traveled time!! [didn't you see "the sword and the stone"? he was in the 20th century!!!])

Gandalf probably because hes tipped into the 'Battle Wizard'
type thing....
But Merlin is the most POWERFUL...

Probably Merlin. For one thing, he may have been modeled after a real person--St. David of Wales. Merlin means a small hawk, and could have been a title, just like Arthur, or Artos, means bear.

hi fellow Potter fanatic! I surely have not in any respect surely considered or examine Lord of the earrings yet we were doing something like this in English so i am going to offer it a flow: As you already reported there is the total age difficulty and lookalike contest. also they're both very smart and kind of act like tutors to the significant characters, they both posses particular issues( elder wand vs particular crew) and are both immensly solid and sprite for his or her age. they're both feared by very effective villains and are accepted for manipulating human beings. ultimately they're both performed by very admired british actors. both way Dumbledore ought to kick Gandalf's **** any day because he's is magnificent and became in basic terms killed because he requested to be killed. also he's hooked on lemon drops! won't be able to get a lot cooler than that!
