no.. you dont need to download anything. Hope you have yahoo messenger and from their you friend is inviting you. If not, you have to download yahoo messenger, add your friend on the list. When you are online, then he can invite you and you need to accept. Then you can watch your friend without any problem.

No you don't need to download anything except your IM client. Try uninstalling it and reinstalling it to make sure you have the latest full version.

It should work. You shouldn't have to download anything to view. Do you use yahoo to view it? If not, maybe try them.
