it's normal to feel less movement in the last few weeks. Think about it... big baby, small uterus... things are getting cramped in there, and there's less room to move. If you're really concerned with it, call the doctor. But chances are, everything is just fine. Either way, you'll be at the doctor again soon anyways! About time for those weekly visits now!
Good luck with the baby!! They're a joy!!

Hi I was in the same situation about 10 months ago. My situation ended up tragic. I layed on my side for about a half an hour but i felt nothing. So i went to the doctor and they said im sorry your baby has passed away. I was 38 weeks pregnant and it still hurts today Please go get checked out if you dont feel movement in the next 30 minutes this is a serious situation. Feel free to write me back. I just found out im 7 weeks pregnant again. So im excited!!!

If you are nervous, call your OB/GYN. You are heading for the big day now. Baby is bigger and a lot more crowded. Doesn't have as much room to wiggle. His movement will be stronger and more localized. Real kicks and punches. There won't be as many fluttery quick movements now because he hasn't got the room. When he does move you definitely know it. Probably when you are trying to get the most comfortable, he will stretch out and make you very uncomfortable. He should be moving into a head down position. Take good care of yourself now, get plenty of rest congratulations.

I'm right there with you!! I'm 29wks prego and i feel the baby less...but i went to the doctors yesterday and they said its normal since he is getting bigger and there is less room for him to move around! Alot of the times they say count the kicks, so when you call the doctor you can tell them how many times you've felt him/her in like a certain amount of time frame. Good luck and hope all is well. CONGRATS!!

As long as you feel movement 3 times a day, you should be okay. But call the doctor if you are unsure. It can't hurt.

a lower amount of movement is okay because the baby is growing and running out of room - if you stop feeling movement all together - call the doctor ASAP

It's normal. The baby is running out of room in there, you'll probably notice more rolling than anything now. If you will feel better call the Dr., that's what they are there for. Good luck and congratulations!

It's normal to feel less movement, but if you have felt no movement at all, call your doctor!

call the dr. right away if you feel no movement.
lowered movement is normal because the baby has less room but no movement at all would be bad.
