b/c they are insecure jerks that dont want their girl to be happy all they want is to make themselves feel better by making their girl miserable and not want to be with them anymore.....god i hate my boyfriend he is that way but for some odd reason i stay by his side....

Anybody that ever tried to run my life was somebody that deeply cared about me. I realized this and learned to look at it differently and instead of letting my initial anger control my reaction, I pause for a moment and think about criticism directed at me. This does not mean that I let people control my life I just took control over my emotions and reactions. We all try to control one an other in some shape and form. I don't know what exactly is it that your boyfriend is trying to control, but if you can instead of arguing ask him to tell you why is he feeling this way and what would he like you to do (I'm not saying you should do what he says) you'll discover a scared person underneath all that, person that cares about you and is afraid of losing you.

It could be fore several reasons.
1. They simply like to boss people around.
2. They are insecure and want to manipulate their girlfriends, so they feel stronger.
3. They just don't know how to respect their girlfriends.
4. They think it's men's job to run their girlfriends' life.

I don't think it is alright, girls have a mind of there own therefore why should I be the one controlling if you have a brain then use it. And for all the girls that are allowing for a man to control them, all i have to say is start using your brain.

because a lot of guys are controlling and insecure and feel that they need to run your life in order to make sure you will love them and never find someone else to love.
If you find someone like that you should run like the wind. it will only get worse. You don't want him to become the stalker type.

Because they are like children, and if they can get away with it they will. It is up to the woman to draw the line, and if they step over it, goodbye! Controlling people only get worse if you let them and soon your life is hell, definitely not worth it.

Because there are mean, evil and abusive people out their pretending to be normal humans... stay away from these folks... all they want to do is bring you down to their miserable level.

because they women are letting them an din the bible the man is suppose to be the leader and supporter but it also says that they are supposed to be equally yoked so if your not then let it go.
