Wash your face no more than twice a day with a good facial wash. I prefer Avon's Clearskin with triclosan. Neutrogena makes some good ones too. Washing too much sends the oil glands into overdrive and your skin will be more oily.

Use a good pore-clearing gel. I like the one the doctor gave my son. It's called Differin and it works great. I use it sometimes too. I find most over the counter stuff is a waste of money.

Eat a healthy balanced diet. The old sayings about greasy foods and chocolate are myths. Personal experience with that. Treats are o.k. but just make sure to eat as healthy as you can. Include foods that are good sources of vitamins A, D, and E. These are great for skin. So is omega 3, 6, 9. Drink 6 to 8 glasses of water to keep your skin hydrated and resilient.

Exercise regularly. This will keep your whole body healthy, including your skin, and strengthen your immune system.

Get 6 to 8 hours sleep. Too little sleep can aggravate skin conditions. So can stress.

Wash your face daily. Both in the morning and at night, before you go to bed. A skin care program is the best. Try Mary Kay. You can get a facial, at no cost. They are free of charge. You only pay for what you want to take home and use. And there is a 100% money back guarantee.

The best way to prevent pimples is to lower your oil intake which brings me to the next issue here. What you eat and how you wash.
Some people have natural oily hair and others dont'.
If your body is porducing too much then cut down on your fried foods and oil products...like potatio chips, Hamburgers, Grilled T-Bone:)

Splash water on your face every time you was your hands. I used to do this all the time, and I wouldnt get pimples because of it.
Also, try using table salt as an exfoliator. If you elt it dry like a mask, it will pull the dirt out and unclug your pores, and leave your face silky smooth.
