Secondary virginity is a term sometimes used by chastity and sexual abstinence advocates to refer to a state of having pledged to refrain from sexual intercourse (or all sexual activity) in the future despite having been sexually active in the past. Secondary virginity may be adopted by unmarried converts to a religion that condemns premarital sex.

Some women feel that they can be reborn a virgin or gain it back. There are different ways, the most common way in through prayer or chatting.
Some women now go as far as to have surgery to replace their hymen. They then become a virgin once again and are once again pure women.

If you abstain from sex for a peiod of seven years, you get back your qoute unquote virginity. I can't remember for sure which religion this originated from, but I know the time frame is 7 years.

i saw a show about it on oprah about 10 years ago....i guess people who have had a "sordid" past have some kind of spiritual awakening and decide to become virgins again. they proclaim themselves secondary virgins or born-again virgins, and do not have sex again until their wedding night.

There are operations that can make you seem like a virgin. But I think you might mean the people that have sworn off sex until marriage after they have already had sex.
