me and this guy r really close mates, we talk all the time and ww get along so well and have such a laugh together. People keep making hints to me that he likes me, and i kinda like him. We keep flirting a lot, and there's moments where it feels like we're about to kiss but....we don't. He has told all of his close mates about me and they all know who i am even if i dont know them!!! He comes to me first over any girl, and he keeps saying im really pretty and cute and 'fit' and he keeps making subtle hints and hugs me unlike he hugs most girls (as ive noticed)....but r they really subtle hints or am i jus looking too much into it?

Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?

These subtle hints may be everything or nothing.
If he runs to you before any other girl I'm guessing he likes you. If his hugs are "different" then it could mean something or then he may just genuinely care about you.
Instead of asking the whethers or the whatnots, ask youself if you want a guy that can't make the move. Do you want a guy who isn't sure about himself? On the other hand, are you making any obvious hints to him? Are you confusing him?
And if he tells you "you're fit" as a compliment, really you should expect more than for someone to be able to assess your whole being on a 2 second glance at how you look. Does he want you or your body?

It sounds to me like he likes you. He may be a little shy though. how about try this. the next time you and him are hanging out and he's hugging and loving on you, say to him: "I really like you, you're a great guy." very casually. That will let him know that you like him too and maybe encourage him to make a move.

Your friends and that is a good start. The best relationships start with friendship. Ask him how he feels about you. He is maybe waiting for you to say something to him. He sounds as though he is interested in you. Go for it!! What have you got to lose? Good luck x

He prob does really like you but he's shy on making the first move or he's scared of rejection, just kiss him and see what happens

I think he is mad about you and likes you more than you imagine. When the moments come when you feel you're about to kiss, kiss him. Maybe he is not sure if you like him and that is why he is hesitating.
