Not totally sure what you're asking for here. If you're referring to the operating system home directory, it's usually c:\winnt, though that can be changed during install. If you're talking about user account home directories, they can be located in folder "c:\documents and settings". If it's something else, you'll need to provide additional information.

If you have installed Windows XP on your C drive the home directlry will be C:\Windows for process and windows files
And for the installed program the home directory will be C:\Program Files

home directory is in unix flavors. home directory is the top most level in hirarchy. In window My computer can be your home directory as u can navigate through it to all directories ( In windows Folders :D).
