yes! with self talk. remember you wouldn't be going for this test if you wernt confident or ready. so there for you can do this you will do this you will set out and achieve what you were aiming for. nerves are only nerves you are much greater than your nerves. so use them to your advantage breath through them tell your instructor you are nervous that will take the edge of them a bit. remember all you have learnt and that you are good at what you do. nerves are only a very small part of us we are much stronger than them so you take control and keep control try it through your breathing.gd luk you can and will do it.

Driving test nerves, horrible! I get them too, really, really badly! I get nervous about other nerve inducing things too but I seem to be able to control that very effectively.
The way I normally control nerves is to make sure that I'm completely prepared, over prepared if possible for the event. so if it's an exam I revise, if it's an interview I make sure I know a lot about the comapny and read interview help books. I try to visit the place where I will be undertaking the nerve inducing event beforehand. So for example, if I'm taking an exam I go to the exam -hall or if I'm going for an interview, I go and visit the organisation as a customer to get used to the feel of the place. Also, this helps you to be on time.
Rehearsing the event in your mind can help, try to realx and then think about what will happen during the event. This acts as a virtual dress rehearsal.
So for your driving test, I suggest that you do lots of mock driving tests with your instructor, visit the driving test centre where you will be taking the test, read up on your highway code and try to envision yourself undertaking and passing your test.
Best of luck to you! I haven't passed my driving test yet but hopefully one day!

First of all good luck with your test!! Nerves in normal when going for a driving test and the examiner knows you will be nervous and will try to put you at ease!! I passed my driving test a year ago. Its not as bad as you may be thinking. They are not expecting you do be a perfect driver so don't think that you have to be the worlds best driver to pass. I was a nervous wreck and i passed. I was also heavy pregnant at the time and feeling really sick. If i can pass you can to. GOOD LUCK, GO DO IT GIRL!!

Try to focus on something else to take your mind off of the driving test. Perhaps you could try to "conker" spelling. Dose that sound like a good idea?

Some nerves are good. They help you focus on the little things. To get rid of the extra nerves though just relax, do things to change your mind. And please know that nerves before some things i.e. driving tests, are unevitable

The way to do it is to do you best and don't get nervous. I that didn't convince you then this will; pretend that it is a normal driving test and just don't make any mistakes! Simple. I hope this answers your question.
All the Best and Good Luck KitKat.
