My personal view is that I will choose family/love ahead of career. If your current career does not give you a good prospect, then you should move on from here but at the same time not leaving behind your love ones.

I know that you wish to give your family a better life in future. However, did you ever consider your family members feeling if you have chosen to leave them to work in another place.

Discuss with your family members before you come to a decision. Their morale support is the most important factor in your decision and in fact more important than any one of us who have given you our views.

I would choose family and love.. As I can assume you have the chance to work somewhere and get a good salary but it's far from your family.. hmm well in that case if you can't find a job were you live it would be okey to travel somewhere else in order to help your family.. This is not choosing between work/money and your family.. It's just to help them out.. you can contact them everyday by phone/email/IM and you are able to go visit them as soon as you miss them (and if you have enough money to do so)
It's your choice.. I wish you best of luck

The world is not black and white. Your career option sounds terrible. Choose a career that you can have love, family and relationships. And about this secret admirer thing, you need to do something about that. Because one-way admiration is not a fulfilling loving relationship.

I think people are always more important than things. Look deep into your heart and you will make the right decision. 7 years is a long time; aren't there any alternatives that would make everyone happy? Best of luck to you; you sound like a sensitive, mature person.

You ramble on, this is a decision only you can make, My first choice would be love, but then again I don't know you you know what that really is or means, given that I would say family, but then again maybe your family is not so good? Only you know what is best, go with your gut, and whatever happens deal with it one day at a time, that's all you have anyway.

man o man, you're confused and inmature thinking. this is a very easy question but difficult to answer you. it takes a mature thinking and experience to understand and accept it.
basically you've to do some soul seaching and find out what you want and what can wait and what is really more important.
plan for the future and your basic needs...gf and marriage can wait and if she cant let her go...it would be better for both.
family and mother you've to take care for its your obligation and a sin to forsake them!
personal needs and comfort should be secondary and primary concern is your immediate family.

The only way you can make anybody happy is if you make yourself happy first! So you pursuit should be happyness and wholesomeness for yourself instead of love or money, ultimatly you want both! Make it happen, by all means nesssesary!

family and love.
you see as long as there is a roof over your head and food on the table you okay.
but having loads of money and not having family/love now that would be irreplaceable.
