I think it's the other way around, they are more in tuned to their needs - emotional, biological, etc., and don't think at all about the consequences of their actions - if they are gonna hurt other people by their actions, etc.

I think the problem is that people go to the extremes, half thinks too much and feel too little, the others feel too much and think too little. Very few people in the healthy middle.

I believe people feel too much and don't think enough before giving voice to their feelings.
If more people took the time to interpret their own feelings and voice them in a passionate, but non-hostile, manner a good portion of the conflict in the world would be resolved.
