Prohibition was repealed in 1933

TV came about in stages, but there was something we'd recognize in the 1920's.

So they do overlap. But TV wasn't widespread until after WW II

Prohibition was first early 1900s then Tv 1950s

I'm not positive, but I think prohibition was first. I don't think television came along until around WWII (or after).
