I am wanting to move on with my life and I was wondering if I will be single the rest of my life or do men date women that have children? Even a male friend would be nice.

Anyone in there later 20's or early 30's would almost expect someone to have kids i myself have been divorced for a year and had 2 kids,I see them but it's not the same as having them around all the time.When i find that someone again i hope she will have a kid just a good one bad kids are a turnoff.

I had the 2 most beautifully behaved and attractive children, but no-one wanted to marry me with them, so I chose to be alone rather than give them up.
Guys are not too keen to take on another man's children, and thats something you will have to unfortunately accept.
There are a few guys around who would and do....but most are not too secure with another's kids..thats the sad fact.
Take a look at the movie stars lives...once their first marriage ends,the women are literally used, abused, and badly treated if they have kids from a past marriage...Yes, Movie stars are human too....
Don't give up on having men friends, but start being realistic about what you expect from these new men....

Depending on how you meet them ofcourse, but if you are out with friends for example and you get ot know a guy there, he is interested in you for who you are. IF you tell him another time you do have kids, it will be an indication how interested he is in you whether he still wants to see you or not.... your kids are an important part of you and your life.

Being 46 and having 2 kids of my own (even though they are now 22 and 20) the answer is yes.

yes they do - but I wouldn't bring a guy around my children if I was dating. Not until you are serious - why confuse them (if they are young that is) Good Luck - there are single dads out there thinking the same thing I am sure.

Highly unlikely. MOST guys do not want to have to PAY and support another man's kids. Especially if the kids won't accept him. Plus, the more kids you have the less chance of finding a guy. Your best bet is to look for a divorced guy who has kids as well.

just because you a single parent does not mean that love train ends for you.
besides I know of a few guys that prefer women with children.

It depends on the age and maturity, i dated a girl with 2 kids when i was 19, bad idea, all i wanted to do was party but she couldn't cause of her kids. Another thing is also , are they willing to commit and help you take care of your kids. It's a tough one, but you might be able to find a guy who is willing and doesn't mind.

Some do, it really depends on the age and maturity of the guy. Really you're question should be not only will he like your kids but will they like him, it affects their lives too much not to think about them. Oh and remember to run the idea of you dating by them and try to make them understand why you're doing this.
