I was constipated a few weaks ago so I drank fourteen beer. The next day, cradeling my head like it was a crystal bowl in an earthquake, I expelled nearly three punds of the brown stuff. When asked later what I did the night before I replied that I drank a "shitload" of beer.

The term shitload came doing the old days when the police used wagons to transport prisoners to prison. A wagon load of prisoners was usually refered to as a "shitload" meaning a bunch of worthless, offensive or detestable persons.

Hope this was helpful.

Best, logical guess, would be manure used to fertilize farmer's fields.
