james marsden is a great actor, in my opinion. even though he plays roles that usually don't get the girl, or audiences dont necessarily root for, he brings a certain amount of humanity to his characters that make you remember and care for him. but i think brandon routh as superman is a very good choice. and i think it was a wise decision to pick someone who was still unknown rather than pick a famous actor.

he can't be Superman, he's already Cyclops... besides.. I think Brandon Routh did a wonderful job as Clark/Superman. He was sincere w/ his acting and he looked good in that cape.

I don't like Superman so I don't want to see him as Superman. But did you see him in Heights he was great.

James Mardsen just seems to be someone Bryan Singer feels bad for, so he puts him in his movies as a character nobody really likes.
