Should it be? After all, it is 7-11.

Count me in. I'll be sure to stop by one today!! I'll do a little shopping, grab some horrible coffee, be annoyed by the teenagers who stand around listlessly over by the magazines, and pay 10 times too much for this experience to the person behind the counter who doesn't understand English. And I will do all this because it is National Convenience Store Appreciation Day.

I like your humor.

Think about it, working in a convenience store is hard work. You stand all day, wait on people, stock the store and watch for bad guys.

My dad did this for a while to earn extra money. He was tired. He worked a full-time job, then worked evenings and weekends to help pay bills and earn extra money to buy Christmas presents for 6 kids!

I have an appreciation for convenience store workers!

How appropo, It could commemorate the sudden flourish of convenience stores with said name. I will commemorate this day by going in and buying a very large slurpy with all varieties layered in one too large cup!! Then I will slurp until I have a sugar buzz and brain freeze combo that would rival any bar-binge. Come morning I will find myself in the back alley, with hundreds of little straws/spoons scattered all about, wondering where I am and how I got there. *has anyone seen where I left my car?*

HAHA That figures. I haven't been in a convenient store for years. They are way overpriced, and the coffee is better at the BP.

ok, first of all, 7-11 was named that because those were their original hours.

Second of all, you just reminded me that it's my ex-wife's birthday and for that, there is no forgiveness
