I've got 2 parties coming up on the following weekend :
1.My boyfriend is inviting me to his work party
2.My ex-dance partner and his wife are also inviting me to their birthday party
The problem is these 2 parties are going to be on the same date at the same time.I could go to my ex-dance partner's birthday party and stay there for an hour and then off to my boyfriend's work party but i don't drive,it's far away between these 2 parties. So ,obviously i have to choose 1 but i'm really confuse and i feel bad if i said "can't go" to the other.Guys,if u were me,which would u rather go to? and why? Pls tell me ur opinions.Thanx

The thing is,i've already told my boyfriend that i'm coming to his work party several weeks before my ex-dance partner invited me.Btw,my ex-dance partner is just a dance partner he wasn't my boyfriend or anything.

I would say it depends on two things, one, how well you know your boyfriend's colleagues, and two, how understanding your boyfriend is... a works party can be VERY boring for partners if they don't know anyone...

If you want to have FUN do NOT go to a work party! (unless your boyfriend is a stripper or something)

go with your bf.he's the one ,i assume,you want to be with since he's your bf.you should be more interested in spending time with him than your dance partner and his wife.besides,you've already made the commitment with him(to go to his party)....

you go to the boyfriends work party............if he is your boyfriend someday he may be your husband not ex dance partner.................and how would your boyfriend feel if he went to the party alone.............maybe he should get his ex something to go with him.............See how bad it sounds and would be..............
