I work as an exceptional personal lines assistant, and not only do I translate in my department but in the entire company, I also substitute the receptionist whenever she can't come. I've been here over 7mths and I think I deserve a raise. How much should I ask for?

Ok, the number 13.33 means to me that there is already a set value for jobs at this facility, and it's been carefully thought out, so If I was you, I'd get a number, like $1.25 in my head, then go to ask for your raise. if it is close enough to the number you had, then all is good.
I am willing to bet you are worth at least that much more.
Good Luck. Believe in yourself. I wouldn't want to lose you as an employee.

If it was me, I'd wait until your one year anniversary. I know it's hard, and you deserve better, but one year is a normal time to ask for a raise so it will probably be taken more seriously. Make sure you come prepared with a list of extra duties you perform and don't be afraid to point out all the wonderful things you do for the company. I would ask for an extra $1.50 an hour, and be firm about it.

Depends on if the company has a pre-set schedule for employee evaluations. Example: In some companies, one might not be eligible for a raise for one year after being hired or promoted to a new position. As far as how much? Again, your company might have it's own guidelines for such things, but a safe level might be 5% of what you currently make.

I think I would wait a bit longer, 6 or 7 months really isn't all that long...sometimes employees being pushy on things like that not too long after being hired turns bosses off.

13.33 seems like good as hell pay for an hour, but thats because I'm only 15, so you should ask for a raise, or do something like my dad does, he's his own boss and works on lawnmowers, and every hour he works on one, it's 30 dollars he's made, that sh.its ******** good.

$6.66 more per hour.

Make sure you flash them devil's horns when you ask for it.
