does this bother you when you're, like, trying to get away from your town for a few days?

I say, if all big cities are looking alike to you, it says more about you than it does about the cities. If all you are visiting is Wal-Mart, 7/11, or Starbucks, you need help. I have traveled world wide, and yes, there are some similarities. But get out more. Discover what it is that city has to offer and what it is that is unique about that city. I have cities I love with all my heart because they are so different, and cities that I will never go back to because they are a s**t hole. But at least I can tell you the differences.

Yes. There's no originality anymore. It all seems like conformity. I could be dropped on "Main Street" anywhere and not know if I were in Boston, Chicago, Atlanta or Seattle because there'd be a Starbucks, Applebees, 7/11, and Wal-Mart.
