I think there is in the culture some honoring of the large penis. Certainly in pornography, the well endowed get the jobs. But a huge penis really has its limitatons in bed (other than as a visual turn on).
While I think the well endowed man gets some special notice in the gay pop culture, I don't think the smaller guy is shunned.

It all just depends.
If the guy is a top - there are those who may shun him. It does not need to be huge - but a certain amount of meat is called for if you want to be a top. On the other hand many bottoms just can't take that big of a phallus and prefer someone with a smaller member. You'd be surprised - many well endowed guys get turned away by scared bottoms.
If the guy is a bottom - not much of an issue.
Some guys are are really into massage and kissing. If the guy is really good that way - then again - not much of an issue.

Not all gay men with small penises are shunned. It's just that many of us have this idea that the bigger the bettter, but I think even a small penises should be given a chance to show it's talents in the bedroom.

No. This is not true. There is only a small percentage of "size queens" in the gay community.

I'm not gay, or a man.. but I would think that if I was getting it in the butt, then a small penis would be nice.
