Whatever you wear, make sure you're going to be comfortable in it all night - the full gorilla suit might look cool in the shop, but you're gonna sweat buckets. Something lightweight, that doesn't have a load of accessories that will take up hands that could be used for eating and drinking. Superman maybe? (topical) or a toga? Flamboyant is great, but practical wins every time.

Dress what is that inspire the audience and also it should be impact creating.. Suppose if you dress like a great personality of your state
It is important that you have to speak a few words related to that personality, copy the body language and spell out his/ her quotes.
I would do Mahathma Gandhi.

When I was 8 months pregnant I went as Tinkerbell, complete with sparkly dress and wings. It raised a few eyebrows I can tell you!

depends on the theme. I love dress up parties;-) I once went as Puss in Boots, (the boots and cape were fun) I once went as a harlequin (even more fun, cause I made the mask myself) and once as the statue of liberty.
