I have a few drawings that my daughter can not get enough of. She loves these drawings so much that she had me print her copies so that she could make book covers because she wanted to show them off at school. She is 13 years old. I did this for her and since then she has had friends and even other students that have never even spoken to her ask her if she could ask me to make them copies as well. by the way, we never gave any of the other students copies. She just told them that she couldnt because it was a special gift from me so they wouldnt get upset with her for telling them no. I've even been approached by parents that have suggested that I have my drawings applied to school supplies, backpacks and even clothing. They said their children would love it. How do I go about this and how much money can I make?

First you need to get some samples ready....get a bag and other supplies printed with your art....consult a copyright specialist to know how much and what rights you will have if you start to sell you art to other companies. try to explore the possibility of buying in large stock and have your own work shop to do the art on the supplies... easy would be start with book covers and files/folders ....if I were you I would start a childrens boutique where main product would be clothes and I would as the time goes by keep adding new feasible product....that would earn you more profit than selling your art to a company

try selling it on websites like ebay to see what response you get...when you start making good profit you can start a store...

1/ Money is not equal to your talent as in marketing,if U as a product, only one goodness!
2/if I were U, I will see throughtly what I really need not want! Then try to do by trial,if at the very beginning,I would guess that U r hot -hearted ,but without experience!
3/ accumulated customer base, and get expensive by trial and error. If U could not lose money,ie,balance,at the very beginning,is count as good.
4/Go on with luck and joy, never always count on success with alot of money, that those interest is differ from a great business.
5/Dog is good for happiness and job satisfaction, however each person count on the value of a lot of is differ.
6/Make a wish and work list(Things to do & pos /cons),to work your dreasm out
7/if u keep the costing good,then U know wha tu expect,U will know,wirk out with @least 50% Ok,get suck is atotal lost,indeed.

OMG....you're saying no longer something about Dictator Bush DOUBLING the nationwide Debt...you human beings are awesome. From 5 trillion to 11 trillion...the position became your outrage then? All that money to Iraq and a contractor that did not do what they were meant to do. And the republicans surely voted now to not lead them to responsible for taxpayer monies. this is the republican way...they do no longer pay their charges! and also you human beings whine even as Obama is making an attempt to bounce commence the business equipment? in my opinion i'd particularly create jobs and word something like the infrastructure repaired in this u . s . a . particularly than persevering with to pay unemployment. As on your crack about the humanities...this is the challenge with some human beings...they don't realize who's unemployed. And as to the pigs and the scent...i quite do not believe that is the rationalization. Run off from pig farms has ruined a range of of water aspects and made human beings ill...that became the republicans present to us all.

You can send examples of your artwork to licensing companies and hope for the best. A company like American Greetings will not steal your ideas but they would want to use designs they own themselves instead of paying someone else. They do pay people if the design is right. I would urge you to get a lawyer and register your artwork first. Good luck!
