You don't. Windows 98 does not support NTFS. I don't know if Windows 98 has a low level formatting option during install or not, it's been a LONG time since I have even touched a Windows 98 CD much less installed it. My guess is that it does not because I recently dealt with Windows ME (what fun) and it did not have a formatting utility at all. That being said, if the drive is already NTFS and it is your boot drive, you will not be able to format it as FAT or FAT32. Third party applications like Partition Magic can do this but that can result in data loss (If there is any data on the drive). Going from NTFS back to FAT32 is not easy and I do not recommend doing so.

Windows 98 Second Edition does not support NTFS file system...
Only Windows NT, 2000 and Xp support NTFS file system...

U can't!!! Win98SE dosn't support NTFS!!!
U can check it if u have a PC with Win98 u can't perfom an NTFS partition!!!
NTFS was originally for Windows NT....

there is no such provision of installing Win98SE in NTFS
else you can achieve it by Converting NTFS to FAT32 file sytem

you can't as win 98 runs on FAT32 formatted hard drives..not to mention you can't change an NTFS hard drive back to FAT32
