Would life be simple if all the ground was of the same level? How would the world be if it was completely flat? Boring right? Ok what if all the water in the world was at the same level? That wont make a difference correct? No it would, most of the world's hydro power generation stations will stop working n half the world would loose its power source.
disparity in money also works in the same way, it creates a flow that energises the world economy. However, unlike natural flows, this man made flow has the tendency to stagnate at some places. And like stagnant water. it breeds all foul things.
There is a practical problem to equally distributing money. Who will decide what will be equal? And what will happen a few years down the line when again some of us would have lost all the money they had and some would have increased their wealth. Do we keep redistributing it? Wont all then just stop working and wait to receive their share of money? Dosent sound too rosy does it?

That sounds like a good idea, except it's not. Say we distributed money equally between everyone, someone buys something from someone else, then there is a difference in each persons allotted money amounts, so we redistribute it, and the person who just bought that something got it for nothing. It would be easier and make more sense to just get rid of money altogether. Also, the idea of equally distributing money between everyone, making everyone equal in status is called communism.

You mean restart the Monopoly game?
Essentially that is what it would be.
It wouldn't help.
The answer is to get the top people VP's Pres. CEO, Chaiman, Board Members, all to accept a normal pay and not millions and millions.
Then they could put the money back into the working class and it would go right into the economy.
But what Rich pig wants to help the country when they can own it

That sounds a lot like Communism. Though it has been thought of as a bad government, it has one of the best ideas. Communism can be considered one of the best governments in history ON PAPER. It can not be done in practice. Some one has to make the decisions, with that you have given someone more power. With power they can control trade and land. So even though they might be making the same salary as you, you would not be equal.

Because money represents property and things that people have worked to earn for themselves. In short your proposal is theft, and wrong.
Every person enters this world with the ability to make choices from applying themselves, to create or earn property from their labors. That property is theirs, and to take it whether the thief is an idealist working for the greater good, or the tyrant bent on exploiting others for his gain and pleasure, they are both thieves.
That is why we should't do it.
If it were done, would it make life easier?
No the discord and violence created when the measures needed to force compliance would be catastrophic, and the end result would be tyranny for all, as those in power either tried to create the balance you naively seek, or maintain their positions in power at the expense others.

It sounds good, but those with the money don't want to give it away. I'm not rich by any means but compared to some people in the world I have it great--and my lower-middle-class standard of living would drop enormously if I had to give a huge chunk of my meager savings away.
Better to solve the population problem--there's just too many people in the world and not enough resources to sustain them. Instead we keep curing diseases, fixing infertility in rich people, and increasing lifespans, and making the problem worse

That answer for that is no. Believe it or not "greed is good." Equal distribution of wealth would not make the world a better place.

It would lead to worldwide stagnation. We would stop challenging ourselves to do things. Money is a motivator.
