Just kind of doing a study. It seems most younger women are interested in clubbing and partying. I mean yeah a bit of fun is alright..but are there any of you out there who are not into that scene? Or am i a thing of a bygone era..?

Or is it the "in" thing these days???

i'm 21 and a girl. never been to a bar or a club. Why the hell would i want to be trapped in a gay place with a bunch of losers who just wanna get laid??? Why would i wanna force myself to listen to gay a.s.s "music" like Nelly or kanye west or some bull.sh!t??? It's just not my thing. I don't even drink for that matter. If I do (rarely) it's half a beer with food. I'd rather spend my time at home, drinking coffee, hanging out with my awesome boyfriend (7 years) and my doggys.

I am a bit f a homebody. I like going out but maybe a 2 clubbing nights a month will be my maximum if that. I prefer staying in with friends or going out to dinner but the whole clubbing thing is just a bit of a turn off for me. This makes me seem weird to my peers, i am very young and should be clubbing more but i don't feel i'm the type

Yes. I'm in my twenties, and I'm not into the bar and club scene. I have a longtime boyfriend who doesn't drink, and it would seem strange to go to clubs with him when I know he'd be really uncomfortable, and even stranger to go to clubs without him--why would I, unless I were looking for a fling?! (The exception is if going to the bar/club was for a one-time event such as a friend's birthday party, in which case I'd probably be there with a present... but not terribly excited about the scene.)

I was never into the whole clubbing thing, not even when I was in college. I'm 25 now. Still not into it. Too much of an invitation to drama & chaos. I have lots of fun plenty of other ways that don't involve alcohol &/or that kind of environment

It never held any charm for me; in college, I never went to a club or disco or bar or whatever; I racked up hours in the library or the studio because...this might shock some readers...I so much prefer it.

On the other hand, it's always been my nature to be the quiet, bookish type...you know, a nerd.

I don't go as much as I'd like to, but not because I don't like it. I'm too old to fit in, but find I'm most happy with younger people and love the music. I usually hang back if I go and don't you know, I usually find someone who enjoys the fun too. I don't drink either.

I don't and never have, although I'm not as young as I was... On occasion I have been to a nightclub or pub, but not on a regular basis... My daughter didn't get into any of that much either... she is 20 and just got married to a guy she met at work.

I'm sort of past the club age, but my son in college tells me that women are bigger party animals and get drunk more than the guys do.

I don't. I think people who do that all the time
are lacking substance in their lives, sure i did it
a bit in highschool but- not anymore I have
better hobbies now!
