Consult a Dr as soon as possible, chest pain is nothing to mess around with. More than likely your problem is related to an upper gastric issue (GERD or gallbladder) but I would still get it checked out. In the meantime don't eat a heavy meal before bed. Feel better.

I saw on a prgramme last week this young man in his early twenties had a similar experience-it was caused by the stomach acid burning the inside of his tubes-he was given medication for it-go see your doctor and get it checked out!

Well it could be a number off things, from angina, stress,a muscle wall which has been pulled,i done think its nothing to do with being a little over weight and well done for not drinking and smoking, firstly you need to see your Gp explain all to him the symptoms you get he may want to send you up the hospital to see a cardiac consultant to be checked out, dont leave it thou just in case it gets worse.Good luck

see your doctor ASAP
although it is unlikely to be a heart condition (unless it runs in your family), you should get it checked out. If you have travelled recently or had prolonged bedrest, or a recent operation, you may have blood clots of any other nasty ailments. It's best to have any and all chest pain seen by a doctor as soon as possible.
Other possible causes are: injured ribs or muscles.

You don't need to be overweight or smoke for you to get blockages or growths. Some pain in the chest can just be caused by trapped wind, but not regular and unbearable pain. Get your doctor to refer you immediately to get a chest x-ray. Now. Now. Now!

if you e-mail me with the type of pain, and exact location i can help you out a litle better. really not enough info.
is it a sharp pain like a knife, or a dull pain like someone is sittin on your chest? does it stay in one place or radiate to different areas? does it intensify when you breath in.
best thing is if it doesent clear up, go to the doc!

Its best to see a doctor to get advice and not take any medicine on your own. Its dangerous and might worsen your health.
