No, definitely not. As very little time was left. In penalties the French took very good shots, Trezeguet was just a touch unlucky.

although the guy that missed the pk for the french was very unlucky with it hitting the crossbar, it cost them the world cup. with most people it is safe to assume that zidane would've burried the pk. so if zidane didn't head butt the italian player, zidane would not have been thrown out of the game and then he would bury the last pk for the french to tie it at 5. who knows what would happen after that becuase both goalkeepers were not even getting close to a save.

Maybe if Zidane was still playing, he would of been the one taking the shot of the guy that missed... so theres a possiblity it changed the outcome of the game.

most definitely. But fate has it that he is send off so that he could not participate in the shoot out and as a consequence Italy win. Life is always has a way to make things happens.
