Yeah... my cities of residence have ALWAYS hovered around that number, but they've all been on the outskirts of one of the biggest cities (3 different ones) in our country. It's cool!! And the big city's RIGHT THERE. No problem. No traffic. No noise pollution! No worries (well, some worries, but it just SOUNDED so clever). I love the big city and will live there one day, but it's been smart and convenient to be from the small towns. Also, celebrity is a little bit easier to handle 'round these parts for me. Ahe he he!

Oh, absolutely. I could settle for a small town of 1000 and less, as long as I have a job and in reasonable (say, 4-6 hours of driving, at most) proximity to friends I care about - so I can go have a party with them, or invite them over, at relatively little inconvenience.

That's my exact intention, and I'll soon be moving to a small town just to get away from the noise pollution that I've been tolerating for a long time due to living 5 miles from a very bust airport.

never again. the job opportunities sucked, the culture sucked. The only way I would ever do it again is if the small town was a part of a chain of other small town near a big city. Basically, as long as the small town is a suburb of a LARGE city.

Lived in a small town all my life.
Couldnt imagine living anywhere else.
25,000 sounds huge to me.
My town is definitely under 5,000.

Yes, its the only place I would live. There is about 10 thousand in the town I live in. Very little crime and drugs. You can go weeks without seeing police. I do like to go into the city once in awhile.

I live in a small town of 7000, give or take some babies. And I love it. Community events are great, everyone shows support, if someone gets sick, or their house burns down.... they're not homeless for long. I love small town living..

Yep, already do.
Estimated pop. less than 3,000.
Love it here, why would I wanna live anywhere else?

Big Cities have people living on top of 1 another, in nothing more than Rabbit Hutches. Destined 2 have over-crowding & leads 2 problems.

Would I? I DO! Population 5,000.
I can go for a walk at any time of the day or night and never worry about being shot or mugged! It does have it's drawbacks, but I'll trade them for safety any day.
