Metarazzi, even he dies, should be grateful to Zidane. His name is now tagged with Zidane the Great.

Ok so no, They are both good player. Materazzi may have said something to zidane, there was no call for insulting anyone on the pitch. You are there to play and be friendly. Zidane ShOULD NOT have done what he di. Just Materazzi is fine, they won the cup and it's all over. Ok
Peace OUT!

there's no way that would have happened. Materazzi is a big, strong man and I'm sure Zidane didn't hit him as hard as it looked. Materazzi exaggerated his fall.

Be real! He wasn't hit that bad! After all, he remained on the field and played until the final! And I don't think Zizou would ever kill someone, not even Materazzi, who insulted him and all the Muslims.
Probably I wouldn't have supported him, but I would have still claimed that he is a great player!

If the remarks quoted by the Russian newspaper are correct, then Materazzis' brain is already dead, and his reasoning to having applauded Zidanes' action, was to thank him for giving him a second chance!

Yes. That would have been one more(and that's not enough) fascist killed for his stupidity and wickedness. i don't consider the death of such a person as a loss for the planet. There is so many of them in football, protected by this physical immunity conferred by Fifa and referees, perfoming insiduously whenever they meet a "different" player, black, arab, muslim..., like Eto'o, Zidane, Makelele... Mazzesomething would have left the field untouched, totally immune, not even an official verbal blame.Somebody needed to pay him back, to show him that no award,no kind of carrier-finishing is worth man's dignity. i had been Zidane, i would have told my sons, never accept racist offenses, use whatever means you have to stop the offender.
He could have died? Come on, he deserves it. Do you think he is better than Ben laden.Imagine an all team made of this kind of man(this is where we're are going thanks to Fifa.), we shall need 11 zidane to headbutt them all. why shouldn'nt Mazz pay for his deeds, when Fifa Uefa imposed sanctions on... after they used racist insults against Barcelona striker Eto'o.
What would you do if somebody in the street or your workplace called you dirty white man, ******* asshole, ************, son of your ***** of mother? i would more than just headbutt him.
Let's clean the fields.
Mazz's right place is not a stadium, but hard work jail, not to talk about a deep italian grave, to make sure he doesn't come back to train more junior mazzes.
and as a final word, an Association is beeing formed which purpose is to physically punish all the racist football players, and Mazze ranks 1st on its worklist. Fifa and government are not doing anything to bring these facist verbal attacks to an end, the association is taking on this crucial task.
Soon you shall hear about P.R.F.P.(Punish Racist Football Players).

No, but he did not die, and he provoked Zidane, and acted like it was a big injury, and his goal keeper (Zidane's opponent for best player) kept pointing to the lineman about it. It was a very ugly business, but Zidane was not the only wrong doer.

What ZZ did was wrong, but it most of been some very personal abuse for a man of his experience to do that. Italian are well done for winning at all costs and weather it is falling down in the box (against Australia) or giving a player verbal abuse in order to send him off (ZZ) that is the Italian way, and they should never be allowed to get away with it.
BUT IT MOST BE REMEMBERED players should not attack other players under any circumstances , nor should they then receive the player of the world cup !!!!
