what do women look for in a potential mate?

they look for what is a genuine male ( real man - in other words) that can be qualifed as a potential mate.
the same way as men look for what is a genuine female.. you dont see men chasing women who talk, walk and act like a male do you? it's the same vice versa - women look for men that dont talk, walk or act like women but men. unfortuantely they're scarce nowadays.

In my experience, women want -- above all -- a guy who they can trust, who won't hurt them... Isn't that what we all really want? Someone who will put physical desire, material wants, etc. aside for our emotional and physical well being? We are all scared, whether male or female, admit it or not. And for the most part, we find some way of hiding it (being a self-proclaimed "B*tch" or "Stud" or "not looking for love") whatever our false face is... we just don't want to be hurt.
