It may be too late for him, especially if he's been abusive or violent to her. Why did he wait so long to realize his behavior was killing the marriage? Probably because he didn't want to and it takes a lot more work to correct.

He'd have to earn his way back in that marriage by changing and getting professional help. It could be too late for the marriage, but it certainly is not too late for him to correct his problems.

Your brother's wife is getting coaching from someone. The wife probably has been having an affair and with the advice from peers or an attorney has filed for a dissolution of marriage.

Your brother is in denial. Obviously there was a problem in the marriage that you know nothing about. You're hearing about this situation 2nd hand.

There are always 2 sides to a story. Advice to you is not to get to rapped up in brothers' problems. Their his and he needs to deal with them. If you let yourself get involved you'll be angry and resentful of the situation without knowing the other parties side to the story.

he will be hurt no matter the reason...just be there for him he needs support someone he loves very much is leaving by their own will....as far as he goes he must understand that she has her reasons whatever they may be and he can decide to accept it or not, it will happen either way....who knows why she is doing what she is....nothing he can do will change her mind, if you definitely need to know what is going on she is the one you should try and talk to her and find out what is going through her mind....and if you decide to, you should listen and accept what she says as her truth....there are two sides to every story and no matter what actually happened, that is what she feels happened and you will never change that...see what she has to say about it and dont argue back with her that will ony cause more problems for all parties involved....your best bet though is just to be there for your brother and let what is gonna happen, just happen....

If she put out a restraining order on him there must be a reason. Unless you know what has gone on in their home 24/7 then you can't know that they've never had any problems. She wants a divorce obviously...that's life.

Step out of one problem and in to another is always a delima. Seek all the angles first. Look beyond the current situation and expect the unexpected.

loving someone sometimes hurts, but its time 2 just let go. it may take time, but if false accusations have been made, its time 2 run and dont look back. if thats what she has chosen to do is get a divorce, there is really nuthin he can do. if someone doesnt want 2 be with him anymore, all he can do is be hurt, get over it , and move on!

He is going to catch a case or a funeral director standing over his head. Not to be funny but she don't want him so tell him to let it go there is somebody else out there for him. He needs to talk to some professional folks because that sounds co-dependant

Tell him to stay away from her - DV orders are bad and if violated he probably will lose at the hearing.

If a couple doesn't have a problem, then, they definately have a problem. Suggest him to move on in life. She is not the last woman on the face of planet.
