i always thought it was 16 because when i went i got alcohol very easily, but i guess that it is 18 now. just like most places in the world, its really easy to get alcohol. smoking as well... they have little vending machines!

It is 18. It used to be 16 but the law was changed a few years ago. 18 for both drinking and smoking. Be careful if you drink at night out from a bar, pub or restaurant. Depending on the area you can be arrested. The best advice is just do what you see around you.

I live in spain, and suposely is 18 years old but..... do not worry that is in theory, in reality there is no restriction you can get alcohol anywhere.

the legal age for drinking and smoking is 18.

(but you can easily drink and smoke even if you're under 18)
