You can ask for a absentee ballot . My husband and I have been voting that way for years . Our only hope is that we get counted . Maybe we need an outside organization to oversee our elections , to see that there is no corruption . A lot of country's do it .

No I do not trust the voting machines. Any programmer can get into the system and change your vote. I am sure George Bush and cronies are not above doing just that like they have done in the past.

Regardless of whether the voting machines are rigged, or not, what can you do, those are the only voting machines available to you to use on election day. You can lodge a complaint if you thing there is voter fraud going on, but you better be able to back it up, or you may be in hot water.

Early vote casting. Used one for the 1st time. can no longer think of this being any much less easy than paper ballots. There have constantly been thoughts approximately ballots no longer being counted (the two Dem & Repub). i assume ultimately we are going to be listening to approximately pc crashes and gadget defects.

Republicans will trust machines and concede if they lose, like usual. Democrats wont trust machines unless they win as usual. Look at Mexico, the left lost and they revolt in the streets and are appealing. The left never concedes. I wonder when they play games with their kids if they cry and whine when they lose?

Sure, everytime you log onto the internet there are viruses and spyware, and adware, and trojan, worms, and dancing hampsters
but you don't worry about that - you just trust that a majority of it will work, if someones gonna run a scam, that's not in your power, history will tell the tale - just do your civic duty.

Nope- they already won Bush two elections. I wonder who they'll be programmed to cheat for in the next one.

Assuming that your conspiracy theory is correct, then how will the votes be counted? People can be bought, machines can be tampered with. What's your solution? Don't vote?
