mercury always stands out in round bubbles when put on a plate , what can make mercury turn to liquid and make it dissolve it water or other liquid.

You can complex mercury into compounds, from porphyins can have a mercuy atom in them and hence due to the organic part of the compound they can be dissolved into another solvent.

Bascilly you have to attach a ligand to Hg so that the properties of the compound become solidable in a liquid etc.

uh you don't want to do that really. mercury is a liquid at RT so if you mix in methyl groups you can kill yourselves in others
